ABOUT DAN THE SPARKY
Written by Dan, here is an insight to the electricians history and the story behind DTS Electrical.....
Raised in Patumahoe, I attended Mauku Primary School and continued my education at Pukekohe High School. It was during High School that I made the decision that I wanted to be an Electrician. In 2009 I qualified as a registered New Zealand Electrician and spent the next four years developing my knowledge working on both commercial and residential sites.

In 2012 my goal became a reality and I went out on my own as DTS Electrical and spent three happy years catering to the wider Auckland area, with the key focus on servicing the local Franklin district.
Having played rugby for Patumahoe RFC from a young age, in 2015 I was given the opportunity to play semi-professional rugby in Ireland. I spent two years here and a further three years in the United Kingdom doing the two jobs I held most passionate, rugby player and sparky.

I returned from overseas in December 2019, and worked for another local Electrician specialising in new builds and renovations. However, as of the start of 2021 I am back out on my own as DTS Electrical and provide my services across the Auckland and Waikato regions.
